The River runs from the Fish pass and Weir towards the Town Bridge. This area was known as ‘Ffrwd-wen’ or ‘White-water’and gave its name to the Flannel Mill which was situated on the left bank behind Ardwyn Terrace which can be seen on the leftof the right hand photograph.
