HANES EMLYN – Town History Society.  Meets once a month September to May in the Old Library in the Market Hall, where talks are given on all aspects of local history.   Exhibitions are held every Bank Holiday and during week-ends in summer. During the first exhibition in August 2000 over 800 Local Photographs were displayed together with artefacts and material from other organisations in the Town.   The photographs now number around 2000 with new material being added every opening.

WOMENS INSTITUTE - Formed in 1927 the Institute meets in the Old Grammar School, Water Street, Newcastle Emlyn every third Tuesday of the Month.          Newcastle Emlyn WI webpage
ROYAL BRITISH LEGION -The Legion is the UK’s leading charity safeguarding the welfare, interests and memory of those who have served in the Armed Forces and their dependants. It provides financial, social and emotional support to millions and its benevolence spans all age groups from the oldest to the very young. The Newcastle Emlyn Branch was formed around July 1921.  The Women’s Section folded some years ago. The men’s section meets every second Tuesday in the month at the Legion Room in the Market Hall.

RAG RUGGING  -  GLAD RAGS
